N-th currency problem
межд. эк., фин. проблема n-ой валюты*, проблема "n-1"* (проблема создания системы фиксированных валютных курсов, заключающаяся в том, что если n стран договариваются о поддержании фиксированных валютных курсов, то все договаривающиеся страны не могут независимо устанавливать паритеты своих валют по отношению к другим валютам и одна из валют должна выступать в роли базы, т. е. независимо фиксировать свои курсы может не более, чем n-1 страна; когда действовала Бреттон-Вудская валютная система, в роли такой базовой валюты выступал американский доллар: США зафиксировали золотое содержание доллара, а курсы остальных валют были привязаны в доллару)
